After our morning walk at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, we drove north past the Border Patrol Checkpoints.  We expected to be searched as we are in a 22' motorhome, but the agents were universally polite and uninterested in checking us out.  A cursory review of our Hawaii drivers license and we were passed through.  There is much debate in this country about securing our border with Mexico.  We were amazed at the number and frequency of Border Patrol and County Sheriffs vehicles we encountered throughout Southern Arizona.  Homeland Security dollars at work.
